Fizz Springs, located about 10 miles from the City of Richland, this County Park
is the location of a naturally carbonated spring, that drew area Native Americans
to it for the curative powers it allegedly possessed.

At one time it was hoped to be a resort. One of the sawmill families in the
Eagle Valley had plans drawn up for such a resort.

The operators of the Hot Springs Resort in Union county would make treks
over the mountain to refill their supply of this water.

County Parks has plans to enhance the visitors experience, with
some day-picnic facilities.
